Meet the Counselor
Kris Kirilova, LCPC
licensed clinical professional counselor
As a licensed therapist, I offer in-person counseling in Rolling Meadows, conveniently located near Arlington Heights, and virtual therapy throughout Illinois.
I believe that love and work are essential parts of life, and I help clients navigate challenges in both areas while supporting resilience and well-being. Many people seek therapy for anxiety, relationship dilemmas, quarter life and mid-life transitions, dissatisfaction, and major life changes.
Some clients also seek support navigating career transitions, workplace burnout, and job loss.
Together, we explore patterns, beliefs, and early life experiences through a lens of curiosity — honoring your unique pace and story.

DIVERSITY
I recognize the importance of culture and the ways it shapes our experiences. I welcome clients of all genders, sexual orientations, races, and ethnicities.
I especially enjoy working with expats, bi-cultural individuals, and first-generation clients navigating major life transitions.
FINDING YOUR PATH FORWARD
You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You may simply know that something no longer feels right—or that you are ready to understand yourself in a deeper way.

COUNSELING APPROACH
My work is guided by an integrative approach of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness. IFS is a trauma-informed, non-pathologizing model that approaches the mind as a complex system. It helps you understand and harmonize the different parts of yourself. This allows you to gently explore internal conflicts and patterns. Curious about IFS? You can learn more about it at IFS Institute.
I am IFS trained through the Internal Family Systems Counselling Associations (IFSCA) course work of Stepping Stones.
My intention is to offer a warm, collaborative space where you can safely explore options, reconnect with your inner compass, and work toward your goals with greater understanding and empowerment.
